Relieve pain, find balance, and freedom by learning to optimize the activation of your deep core 4 muscles, so that you do not overuse or underuse the muscles that surround your hips, back, shoulders, and core.  You will be stronger by finding more ease.

You will learn:

  

  • · Improve posture to optimize breathing mechanics
  • · How to lift and release your pelvic floor in coordination with your diaphragm, transverse abdominals, and multifidus
  •  How to release your QL, psoas, hamstring, piriformis, among others to improve function of your pelvic floor   
  • · An easy strategy to improve balance 
  • · Full integration of your inhale/exhale, pelvic floor, and core in stillness and movement

  • One-hour 1on1 personalized coaching session
  • Take home personalized worksheet
  • Progressive skills to continue to improve

Level 2 is for those who have taken the Level 1 course and want to review their personal core cue, practice their alignment/breathing mechanics/core cue with movement in a group class, as well as, revisit releases.  The 60 minute class will move slow, so you can progress at your pace.

75 minute workshop 


 Join Kim for a 75 minute workshop where she will share the 3 things that every upside skill needs for you to get results.  You will learn the 3 steps and  how to put them into practice in common arm balances and inversions with progressive steps to include variations for your skill level.  Whether you are just beginning or flying high, you will receive personalized steps to enter, hold, and exit your posture!  The Level 1 Course is for introducing hand and arm balances and Level 2 is intermediate and advanced hand and arm balances or those who already have an arm balance and inversion practice.


We will explore your posture of choice as well as common and not so common postures.  Every upside-down posture workshop is a little different as each workshop is personalized and customized to the group that is practicing.



You will learn: 

  • The 3 things every hand balancing posture needs for success
  • How to take the variables out of every hand balance
  • Transitions in and out.  Exit strategy.
  • Progressive steps for your skill level including modifications, props, and uplevels
  • Optimal breathing for your entrance and for ease and strength while holding and exiting the posture
  • Optimal core engagement 
  • How to incorporate arm balances and inversions into your home or studio practice
  • Tips & tricks I have learned over the decades to make transitions fun and easy


Whether you are a yogi, gymnast, dancer, weightlifter or have never been upside down, you will learn how to incorporate arm balance and inversions into your physical practice and enjoy how they keep you present, build strength, increase focus, and allow you to enjoy the journey of something new!
